CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Elisha Michelle Thompson, 24, of 298 state Route 37, Hogansburg, with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and ticketed her for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle late Wednesday afternoon following a secondary inspection at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers reportedly found Thompson was in possession of the pills during the secondary inspection at the port of entry in Rooseveltown. She was then turned over to state police. Thompson was arraigned by Massena Town Justice Gerald P.
