FORT COVINGTON - A third of the seats on the Salmon River Central School Board of Education will be on the ballot in May.

Salmon River school board President Christopher Nye’s term is expiring as are the terms of fellow incumbents Robert Durant and Sheila Marshall.

SRCS Clerk and Business Executive Natacha Jock said none have filed petitions to re-run as of yet.

The Brushton-Moira Central School District has three of its members up for re-election for three-year terms, according to Board Clerk Christina Dufrane.

The trio include current board President Marice Bright and board members Dennis Egan and Tracy Warren.

Ms. Dufrane said Ms. Bright has filed a petition, but said she has not seen a petition from Mr. Egan or Ms. Warren yet.

St. Regis Falls Central School has one seat on the ballot.

SRF’s Board Vice President Thomas O’Bryan has already filed his petition to run again for the board, according to the Superintendent’s Administrative Assistant Laura Richards.
