Parishville, NY- A graveside committal for 77-year old Jack Spencer Wilson, Sr. of Parishville will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Parishville at a later date and time to be announced. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam. Mr. Wilson died at his home in the Town of Parishville on April 9, 2014.
Survivors include his companion Arlene Crump of Parishville, two sons: John and Pam Wilson of Bangor, NY, Jack S. Wilson, Jr. and Helen Arquette of W. Potsdam; four daughters: Debra and Louie Brier of Plessis, NY, Karen and Ronnie Ashlaw of Parishville, Brenda Thompson and Steve hart of Parishville, and Dawn Snyder of Potsdam.
Two brothers David Wilson and Robert Wilson both of Parishville also survive, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jack was born in Syracuse, NY on May 20, 1936, the son of Floyd and Erma (Whiley) Wilson. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Riverside Building Materials in Watertown, NY. Jack was a member of the Sylvan Falls Hunting Club, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and 4-wheeling.
