BAD CHECKS - POTSDAM - Village police charged Lori J. Rhode, 41, of Colton with issuing abad check at 8 a.m. Thursday following an investigation into a check that was issued Dec. 18 on an account with insufficient funds to a village business.

STOP SIGN - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Darren Deneke of Lancaster for failing to stop at a stop sign at 5:30 p.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Sandstone Drive. A passenger in his vehicle, WilliamWhaleyof Norwich, was ticketed for not wearing his seatbelt. Police did not provide ages for either man.
