Burn that hospital down to the gound

To The Editor:

What should be done with Massena Hospital?

How many residents within easy reach prefer this facility over CPH or Claxton/Hepburn?

How many residents pray they never have to go there for care?

Where does the real fault lie with Massena Hospital’s financial problems? Are the recent pronouncements of costly pension funds taking the facility down? Why do CPH and Claxton/Hepburn operate in black ink and Massena in red?

Could it be area residents have lost faith in this facility and take their health care needs some where else? I would believe that is the reason for their continuous failings over no funds for pensions. I’m not saying they are making this stuff up I am saying they are a failure.

How many residents have a relative or friend who received care there and never came home again?

I do, they killed my brother when they attempted a procedure they apparently were not qualified to perform.

What should be done with this failed facility? I believe it should be burned to the ground.

In its place should be built a CPH or Claxton hospital annex.

Where do I go for my care? I go to Claxton/Hepburn where I have received good care from Dr Chowdhuri and the staff at Hepburn.

I feel for those who must through no other alternative go to MMH.
