Colton-Pierrepont recorded its second NAC East win in two days, Salmon River swept an NAC Central doubleheader from Potsdam and Massena evened its Central record at 1-1 in Thursdays NAC Softball action.
The other Central Division action saw OFA down Canton and Malone drop Brushton-Moira.
C-P 19 - Tupper Lake 1:Sabrina Johnson struck out 11 in a crisp two-hitter and also belted a two-run triple. Eve Whalen led the offensive support crushing a triple, a homerun and single to drive in five runs. Lee Ann Cary doubled and singled and Andrea Aldous, Morgan Doyle and Courtney Miller all singled.
Massena 10 - Gouverneur 0: Amber Thomas threw a no-hitter, striking out eight, as the Red Raiders rebounded from an opening loss. Bailey Dillabough drove in three runs in the fourth inning for Massena (1-1) with a double.
Salmon River 25-17, Potsdam 9-2: Sierra White supplied two doubles and two singles in a 25-9 win in game one for Salmon River and Brittany Brooks supplied three hits in a 17-2 win in the nightcap.
Melanie Taylor fanned seven in the first game and Kera Ghostlaw also singled three times.
Kelsi Green had two hits for Potsdam.
In game two, Taylor and White each supplied a triple backing up Brooks who pitched a four hitter. Green stroked a pair of Potsdam hits.
OFA 11 - Canton 3: Riley Luckie tossed a complete game three hitter backed a strong defensive and offensive effort as the Blue Devils scored an impressive opening win for first-year coach Mark Henry.
Kalie Downy led the winning offense with a single, a double and a triple and Alicia Sharpe singled and doubled. Luckie Maddie Bresett each singled twice and Jillian Lincoln and Kristen Snyder each added singles.
Kali Frank singled twice for Canton and Lauren Smith added single.
Malone 9 - B-M 4: Annie Sharlow allowed just three hits and struck out five to help Malone (2-0) defeat the Panthers.
Janelle Heden lined three hits for the Huskies. Sharlow, Morgan Fountain and Emily Marshall all tallied two hits for Malone. Emily OConnor struck out nine for Brushton-Moira (2-1, 1-1).
Chateaugay 9 - St. Regis Falls 4: Rachel Young tallied two hits and pitched three innings of relief to lead the Bulldogs (1-1, 1-0) past the Saints in an East Division game in Chateaugay. Madison Austen struck out seven for the Saints (0-1).
