CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Scott L. Betters, 56, of Chateuagay with second-degree criminal contempt following an incident where he allegedly violated an order of protection at 3:30 p.m. Friday at 2556 Chateaugay St. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the Franklin County Jail with bail set at $500 cash.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - FORT COVINGTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Friday.

■ Amie L. Ellsworth, 27, of Fort Covington at 9:32 p.m. on County Route 3, near Howard Road, in the town of Fort Covington.

■ Danielle A. Fleury, 32, of North Bangor at 7:48 a.m. on County Route 3 in the town of Fort Covington.

PETIT LARCENY - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Justin D. Rourke, 33, of Hogansburg with petit larceny Thursday stemming from a complaint filed with troopers Dec. 9 from the town of Malone.

HARASSMENT - BRASHER FALLS - Massena-based state police charged Mickey P. Reyome, 53, of Brasher Falls with second-degree harassment Thursday after responding to a domestic dispute complaint at 9:51 p.m. in the town of Brasher.
