MADRID: Howard J. Tyndall, 86 of County Route 345 passed away on April 25,2014 at his home under the loving care of his family and Hospice. Friends and family may call on Monday, April 28, 2014 from 1:00 -2:00pm at Phillips Memorial Home in Madrid. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 2:00pm at St. John the Baptist Church in Madrid with Rev. Msgr. Harry Snow. Interment will be in Madrid Cemetery at a later date.
Howard was born on Oct. 6, 1927 the son of John and Marion (Blount) Tyndall.
He married Pauline Asley on Oct. 24, 1949 at St. Johns the Baptist Church in Madrid. Howard was employed at Alcoa in the re-melt department and retired after 27 years.
Howard is survived by his wife Pauline; a daughter, Gail Tyndall of Madrid and a son Gary (Ann) of Skaneateles, NY; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by a son, DavidTyndall and a daughter, Merry Michaud. At the familys request in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Howards memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of St. Lawrence Valley.
