Massena woman charged with endangering after leaving toddlers unattended

ENDANGERING THE WELFARE - MASSENA - Village police charged Jamie L. Jandrew, 27, of 190 Center St., Apt. 3, Massena, with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child at 1:03 p.m. Thursday. Jandrew was charged with leaving her two children, ages 1 and 2, unattended. She reportedly was initially in a downstairs apartment at her complex and checking on the children sporadically but then left the building. The St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services Child Protective Unit assisted in the investigation. Jandrew was released on an appearance ticket.
