BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police said St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police picked up Ashton M. Francis, 25, of 381 state Route 37, Hogansburg, on a bench warrant issued by Massena Village Court for failing to appear in court for scheduled appearances on petit larceny and resisting arrest charges stemming from a shoplifting incident on June 23 at the Massena Walmart. She was turned over to village police at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, arraigned by Acting Massena Village Justice James M. Crandall and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $400 cash or $800 bond. She had been charged with shoplifting $594.77 worth of merchandise from Walmart on June 23, 2013. She then fled into the nearby woods when police were attempting to take her into custody. She was apprehended a short time later on the nearby railraod tracks.



DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MASSENA - Village police charged Julia L. Larock, 49, of 150 Maple St., Massena, with disorderly conduct at 9:28 p.m. Sunday on Liberty Avenue. She allegedly headbutted Kimberly Condon at 124 Liberty Ave. during an argument. Larock was reportedly upset with Ms. Condon because she believed she had filed a complaint with police against her daughter.



COUNTY COURT WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Gloria J. Berry, 62, of 18 Bishop Ave., Massena, on a bench warrant alleging she had violated the terms of her probation. She was transported to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility pending arraignment in county court.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed David J. Murray, 42, of Buckton Road, Winthrop, for speeding and operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 10:48 a.m. Sunday on the South Raquette Road.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Richard M. Cook, 43, of Highland Avenue, Massena,for speed in zone following a traffic stop at 10:09 a.m. Sunday on the South Raquette Road.



UNINSPECTED VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Richard A. McEwen, 30, of North Allen Street, Massena, for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 9:31 a.m. Sunday on West Hatfield Street.



FAILURE TO YIELD - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Amanda M. Deloney, 27, of state Route 56, Potsdam, for failure to yield the right of way at 4:52 p.m. Saturday following aproperty damage accident in the Walmart parking lot.



SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Frank R. Cositore, 50, of Miner Street, Malone, for speedin zone at 5:07 p.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on the South Raquette Road.
