COLTON - Voters in the Colton-Pierrepont Central School district have passed the schools 2014-2015 spending plan by a 186-50 margin.
The districts $10,280,000 budget increases spending 4.5 percent. The $7,120,000 tax levy to support the spending plan carries a 0.9 percent increase and comes in under the districts tax cap limit.
Incumbents Jeffrey W. Angleberger, 188votes, and Cindy L. McLean, 135 votes, were elected to the two seats on the school board. Incumbent KayC Stone finished with 123 votes.
