STOLEN PROPERTY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police made a third arrest Friday in an investigation into a shoplifting complaint earlier this month from the Potsdam Walmart.

Troopers charged Alexis N. Gondosch, 24, of Norwood with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property Friday morning.

Peter J. Shantie, 43, of Norfolk had been charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, conspiracy and petit larceny Thursday stemming from an investigation into a shoplifting complaint filed with troopers at 12:48 a.m. May 20 from the town of Potsdam. Jeremy J. Monroe, 32, of Norfolk had previously been charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fifth-degree conspiracy in connection with that same investigation.

ABC VIOLATION - NORWOOD - Massena-based state police charged Sharon Gushlaw, 25, of Norwood with a violation of the state’s Alcohol and Beverage Control Act following an incident at 5:57 p.m. Thursday in the village of Norwood. Troopers said the arrest was made at the Gandy Dancer, 49 Mechanic St., Norwood.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - CHATEAUGAY - Malone-based state police charged Bobbie Jo Larock, 35, of 118 Jefferson Ave., Massena, with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container following a traffic stop at 8:54 a.m. Friday on Route 11 in the town of Chateaugay.

DWAI DRUGS - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Gregory W. Wood, 23, of Fort Covington with driving while ability impaired by drugs and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps and inadequate stop lamps following a traffic stop following a traffic stop at 11:28 p.m. Friday on Route 31 near County Route 51 in the town of Malone.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Friday. Among those:

■ Jerry L. Foster, 39, of Hermon reported at 4:44 p.m. on Boyden Road at Farnes Road in the town of Canton.
