DWI - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Timothy J. Dishaw, 45, of Lisbon with driving while intoxicated and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle on a public highway and ticketed him for failure to keep right following a traffic stop ay 5:22 p.m. Tuesday on County Route 28 in the town of Lisbon.
AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police charged Clyde A. Self, 37, of Massena with unlawful possession of marijuana and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed him for an equipment violation at 1:07 a.m. Wednesday following a traffic stop on Route 37 in the town of Louisville. A passenger in his vehicle, Robert A. Dennis, 33, of Massena, was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
AGGRAVATED HARASSMENT - ST. REGIS FALLS - Malone-based state police charged John C. Welcher, 35, of Massena with second-degree aggravated harassment - telephone following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday from the town of Waverly.
LEANDRA’S LAW - DICKINSON - Malone-based state police charged Michael A. Cayea, 23, of Santa Clara with a felony count of aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law for operating a vehicle while allegedly intoxicated with a child in the vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana and driving while ability impaired by drugs. He was also ticketed for an equipment violation following the traffic stop at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday on County Route 5 in the town of Dickinson.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MALONE - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Tuesday. Among those:
• Diane Lavallee, 61, of Sainte Marie, Que., and Robert Whalen, 77, of Gulfport, Fla., at 1:11 p.m. on Route 11B at County Route 5 in the town of Dickinson.
• John F. Youmell, 77, of St. Regis Falls at 8:34 p.m. on Route 11B a the Doug Smith Road in the town of Dickinson.
