BENCH WARRANT - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police picked up Tyler A. Gray, 26, of Hogansburg on a bench warrant. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and sent to the Franklin County Jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.

GRAND LARCENY - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Jason M. Woodard, no age available, of Massena with third-degree grand larceny. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and sent to the Franklin County Jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.

UNLAWFUL FLEEING - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Brandon L. Jacobs, 18, of Hogansburg with unlawful fleeding of a police officer, driving while intoxicated, second-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, reckless driving and numerous other traffic infractions. Police said Jacobs led them on a high-speed chase when they attempted to stop him for a traffic offense. The pursuit ended with Jacobs damaged one of the patrol vehicles in his attempt to flee. He allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 1.1 percent A BAC of .08 percent or higher is considered proof of intoxication in the state. Jacobs was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and sent to the Franklin County Jail on $10,000 bail and $20,000 bond.

RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged William Burke-Johnson, 19, of Hogansburg with second-degree reckless endangerment and criminal possession of stolen property - firearms after they investigated a report of shots being fired. Police said they found Burke-Johnson shooting toward a residential area and was later found in possession of a stolen rifle.

SEARCH WARRANT - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and its K9-Unit conducted a search warrant May 22 on Connors Road, where the K9-Unit led officers to 1.9 pounds of marijuana, 59 grams of marijuana wax (controlled substance) and more than $37,000 U.S. dollars. Officers also seized three firearms, military-grade body armor and a large amount of ammunition. No further information was provided by police.
