POTSDAM - In honor of D-Day, the Potsdam Public Museum has an exhibit of World War II uniforms and artifacts. Included in the display are U.S. uniforms, maps, posters, booklets and some items brought back from Germany that include a Nazi uniform and banner. The banner measures 12 x 5 feet.
The museum also has a story on its website regarding Louis White, a long-time Potsdam resident who took part in the Normandy invasion.
The museum at 2 Park Street, Civic Center, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Call (315) 265-6910 for more information.
