POTSDAM - Mark Misiak netted a goal and helped set up the other two as CJ’s-Chip’s Place of Potsdam downed Ogdensburg Frary 3-1 in North Country Men’s Summer Soccer action on Sunday.

Willi Steinrotter drew the assist on Misiak’s goal. Ted Cook and Shawn Lillie connected for the other goals while Ben Steinberg turned aside seven shots backstopping the win.

In the other Sunday evening matchups, Cornerstone-SeaComm of Potsdam edged AMP-Jreck Subs 2-1, Canton beat Massena 3-1, S&L Electric of Colton trimmed Lisbon 1-0 and Ogdensburg Pepsi-The Place outscored Heuvelton 5-3.

Cornerstone-SeaComm 2, AMP-Jreck’s 1: Brian Sullivan and Matt Konecnik broke through for the goals in the winning effort while AJ Doran finished off a play set up by Lucas Brown to account for the AMP-Jreck’s tally.

Canton 3, Massena 1: Ryan Chauvin converted off an assist from James Hunt in the losing cause while Alan Davis made 12 saves.

S&L Electric 1, Lisbon 0: Devin Gruneisen generated the lone goal of the game off an assist from Cole Hennessy.
