CJ’s-Chip’s Place of Potsdam, Massena’s Savings and Loan-Kassian Realty and Colton’s S&L Electric pulled away to convincing North Country Men’s Summer Soccer victories on Sunday.

CJ’s-Chip’s Place 7, Cornerstone-SeaComm 1: In a matchup of the two Potsdam-based teams in the league staged at SUNY Potsdam’s turf field, Mark Misiak generated two goals and two assists to anchor the winning attack. Willi Steinrotter tallied a goal and three assists. Ted Cook netted two goals and set up another. Tony Betrus and Ben Steinberg, who also combined with Chris Custer to make seven saves backstopping the win, struck for the other goals while Rishe Thakur logged a solo assist.

Massena S&L-Kassian 6, Cornerstone-Town and Country Vets 0: Connor Dix generated two goals and an assist as the Massena booters blanked their Heuvelton counterparts. Zach Kozsan and Anthony Cortese recorded a goal and assist. Robert Cameron and Ryan Chauvin struck for the other goals while James Hunt and Brian Jacks each recorded an assist. Alan Davis handled the 12 shots he faced working the crease for the shutout.

S&L 5, Frary 0: Jeremy Dunning notched two goals and two assists to spark the winning effort. Devin Gruneisen fashioned a goal and assist while Alex Bonno and Dan Knight struck for the other goals and Mike Bonno tallied a single helper.

In the other two games, Ogdensburg Pepsi-The Place dropped AMP-Jreck Subs 9-0 and Canton North Country Savings Bank outscored SLCFCU of Lisbon 4-1.

Canton 4, Lisbon 1: Mario Riccardi, Travis Jordan, Shawn Brown and Tyler Gallagher connected for goals in the winning effort.

Sean Murray countered with the lone St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union goal.

Austin Lamay had three saves, including one off a penalty kick, backstopping the win.
