FELONY DWI - PIERREPONT - Canton-based state police charged John R. Hess, 64, of Potsdam with felony counts of driving while intoxicated - previous DWI conviction in previous 10 years and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle at 12:27 p.m. Sunday following a stop on state Route 56 in the town of Pierrepont.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Benjamin T. Otis, 18, of Bangor and Thomas J. Fiore, 18, of Malone with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 8:05 p.m. Sunday on County Route 42 in the town of Fort Covington.

FALSELY REPORTING INCIDENT - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charged a 15-year-old female from Brandon with third-degrree falsely reporting an incident Friday following an investigation into a domestic dispute complaint filed with troopers on June 10. Her case was turned over to the probation department to determine if she will be petitioned to Franklin County Family Court.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents over the weeked around the region. Among those:

• Matthew D. Warren, 27, of Madrid at 12:30 p.m. Sunday on County Route 27, near Eels Road, in the town of Pierrepont.

• C.M. Pateneaude, 38, of North Bangor and William Dale Webber, 21, of Moira at 3:58 p.m. Saturday on Route 11, near Wheeler Road, in the town of Bangor.

• Eric C. Walker, 32, of Gouverneur at 8:18 p.m. Saturday on state Route 458 at the Hewitt Road in the town of Waverly.
