Silver wins Best Poker Hand in Ogdensburg Ladies Golf Assocition


The Ogdensburg Ladies’ Golf Association met Tuesday, with Jane Silver capturing the prize for best poker hand. Kay’s Chip-In Pot was divided by Deb Sullivan on #1, Sheila Wright #5, Myrna Sandburg #7, and Linda Sandburg #8.

Low Gross for the day was carded by Peg Langley with a 45, followed by Sue Watson, Donna Doyle, Mary Allan, and Jean Bracy. Low net of 38 went to Myrna Sandburg, with Deb Sullivan, Gail Bouchard, Kay Hannan, and Aileen Guimond close behind.

Deb Sullivan continued her winning ways with a birdie on #9. Members are reminded that next week the club will be competing for the coveted Putting Platter.

Also there will be a dinner meeting on Wednesday at the Place restaurant. The cocktail hour will begin around 5 p.m. dinner from the menu will begin at 6 p.m.

The team for the Foothills match in Massena will be sent in on Wednesday and all paid-up OLGA members are eligible to participate.
