PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Patrick J. Barber, 25, of 453 Center St., Massena, for petit larceny at 7:11 a.m. Monday after responding to a shoplifting complaint. He reportedly walked past the store’s last point of sale without paying for $64.41 worth of beer.

PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Christopher Lanning, 17, of 140 Liberty Ave., Apt. 3, Massena, with two counts of petit larceny at 5 p.m. Sunday. Lanning allegedly stole bicycles from East Orvis Street and Walmart over the weekend.

CRIMINAL POSSESSION MARIJUANA - MASSENA - Village police charged Tyler Valdez, 17, of Massena with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana at 2:45 a.m. Saturday. He was reportedly found in possession of 49.8 grams of marijuana after responding to Price Chopper. Police had responded to Price Chopper after receiving a complaint that he was violating a curfew condition of a release under the supervision of the probation department on a previous charge.
