CANTON - Elise M. Stefanik, the Republican and Conservative line candidate in November’s race for the 21st Congressional District, leads Matthew A. Doheny by a 12,206-8,148 margin and carries a vote advantage in all 12 counties in the district. She leads the race by a 13,023 - 8,533 margin.

There are only two counties in the district where the race is even competitive.

Ms. Stefanik holds a slim 2,547 - 2,528 edge over Mr. Doheny in Jefferson County, where the Watertown Republican resides, and is carrying a 239 vote advantage, 1,539-1,300, in St. Lawrence County, where Mr. Doheny had been very visible in his previous races.,
