Norwood woman charged with possessing steaks allegedly stolen from Perry’s Big M


STOLEN PROPERTY - NORWOOD - Norwood Village Police charged Jamie L. Jandrew, 27, of 3 Bernard Ave., Norwood, with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property Wednesday after she was reportedly found in possession of cube steaks that had been stolen from Perry’s Big M. She was released on an appearance ticket for Potsdam Town Court.

Police said during that investigation they also picked up Charles R. Murdie, 34, also of 3 Bernard Ave., Norwood, on four outstanding bench warrants. He was turned over to Massena Village Police, arraigned in Massena Village Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

Murdie was allegedly with Jandrew during the incident at the Norwood Big M. Police said their investigation into the incident at the Big M is continuing, and further charges are pending against Murdie.
