UNSAFE BACKING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Jessica Hitsman, 27, of state Route 310, Norfolk, for unsafe backing at 1:56 p.m. Friday following a property damage accident in the Walmart parking lot.

FAILURE TO YIELD - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Laurel E. Brothers, 56, of Waddington for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign at 12:42 p.m. Friday following a property damage accident on Stearns Street at Route 37.

BENCH WARRANT - MASSENA - Village police picked up Ronald A. Woods, 23, of 165 County Route 1, Bombay, on a bench warrant issued by Massena Village Court at 11 a.m. Friday when he was being released from the Franklin County Jail. The warrant alleged Woods failed to appear in village court as directed on a pending petit larceny charge. He was arraigned by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson and released on his own recognizance to reappear in village court.

UNINSPECTED MOTOR VEHICLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Tina L. Burdick, 35, of Bishop Avenue, Massena, for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with an inadequate muffler at 10:51 a.m. Friday following a traffic stop on the Willow Street Extension.
