GRAND LARCENY - LOUISVILLE —Massena-based state police charged Douglas H. Wilson, 36, of Massena with a felony count of third-degree grand larceny and Scott D. Donnelly, 24, of Massena with a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny.

Troopers allege that between April 1 and May 29 the two men took 25 checks totaling $2,985 from 88-year-old Mabel I. Woodside of Louisville for work they said they would do on her 259 County Route 43 home but never completed.

Wilson was charged with felony grand larceny because he cashed all the checks.

Both men were arraigned in Louisville Village Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility. Wilson is being held on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond and Donnelly is being held on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond.
