Funeral arrangements for 80 year old Mr. William Edward Case, formerly of State Route 11, Canton, NY are with the Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam. Mr. Case died at the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena on June 28th, 2014.Calling hours will be held July 1, 2014, Tuesday afternoon and evening from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 PM with a prayer service closing the evening led by Rev. Lee Sweeney. An urn burial will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 at 3:30 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery in Canton, NY.

Survivors include a daughter Carol Case residing in Vermont, two sons Darrel Case of Wyoming, and Larry Case of New Hampshire, four step-daughters Ida (Glenn) Foster of Hannawa falls, NY, Regina Antwine of Massena, NY, Ruth Ann (John) Narrow of Potsdam, and Rosemary Ingram of Canton; three step-sons Kenneth J. (Ruth) Antwine of Ithaca, NY, Keith Antwine of Syracuse, NY, Karl J. (Brenda) Antwine of Massena, NY. A sister Mrs. Betty O’Brien of Liverpool, and a brother Earl Case of Syracuse and several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Bill was pre-deceased by his wife Shirley L. Case.

William was born in Parishville, NY on May 27, 1934, the son of Earnest David Case and Florida Mary (Richards) Case. He was employed at AMF Lanes & Pins, in Lowville, NY from 1960 until his retirement in 1996. He married Shirley L. Burnham at the VFW Hall in Canton, NY on.June 29, 1996.

Bill enjoyed music, and telling jokes; and was fond of playing his guitar.
