Funeral services for Morgan J. Gagnon, age 17 of Albany Avenue in Ogdensburg will be held on Wednesday (July 2, 2014) at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Cathedral with Rev. F. James Shurtleff officiating. Her place of rest will be at Foxwood Memorial Park.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday (July 1, 2014) from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Fox & Murray Funeral Home. Morgan died Friday June 27, 2014 at her home.

Surviving are her parents Michael Ferris & his wife Erin, and Bobbi Jo Gagnon of Ogdensburg; a brother Kaleb Dawley; four sisters Jaylene Dawley, Gracelind Ferris, Greta Ferris & Graeah Ferris all of Ogdensburg; maternal grandparent SueEllen Gagnon; paternal grandparents Carol Ashton , Daniel Polniak & his companion Charlene Barr and Dave Ferris & his wife Linda all of Ogdensburg; maternal great-grandmother Vera Nichols of Ogdensburg; paternal great-grandmother Dorothy Polniak of Redmills ; aunts Jodi Ferris & her companion Steve Rand, Stacey Barney & her husband Doug, Danielle Polniak & her companion Ryan Downey; uncles Daniel Polniak Jr. & his companion Kara Wright all of Ogdensburg, Jim Ward & his wife Molly of Lisbon, John Ward of Ogdensburg, Jeff Ward & his wife Angela of Lisbon and William Gagnon & his wife Airaca of Ogdensburg along with several great-aunts, uncles & cousins.

Grandparents Richard Polniak, Ed Ashton, Ed Gagnon & Ben Nichols predeceased her.

Morgan was born on December 2, 1996 in Ogdensburg NY, a daughter of Michael Ferris & Bobi Jo Gagnon. She attended Ogdensburg Free Academy and was an active member of the OFA Cheerleading Squad and OFA Soccer Team. She also participated in the bookclub and gifted and talented program. She enjoyed swimming, playing soccer, computers, ice skating, taking pictures, listening to music, babysitting, dancing and spending time with her friends and family.
