AGGRAVATED DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Steele D. Floyd, 19, of Heuvelton with aggravated driving while intoxicated and comsumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle on a public highway and ticketed him for operation of a vehicle with inadequate plate lamps at 2:21 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Maple Street.

He reportedly had a blood alclohol content of 0.18 percent.

A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher is considered proof of intoxication in the state. The charge is elevated to an aggravated DWI when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.

ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION - POTSDAM - Village police charged Joseph M. Marino, 22, of Constable with consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle on a public highway (passenger) at 2:15 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Maple Street.

INSUFFICIENT TAIL LIGHTS - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Mark P. Baker, 28, of Colton for operation of a vehicle with insufficient tail lamps at 11:27 p.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Market Street.

SPEEDNG - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Jacqueline E. Colton, 21, of South Deerfield, Mass., for speed in zone (47/30 mph zone) at 9:12 p.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Maple Street.

CELL PHONE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Kara L. McGregor, 24, of Potsdam for using a mobile device while operating a motor vehicle at 6:04 p.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Market Street.

SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Meghan A. Furnia, 34, of Elizabethtown for speed in zone (54/30 mph zone) at 8:47 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Elm Street.

UNINSPECTED VEHICLE - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Cody A. Dennis, 20, of Madrid for operation of an uninspected motor vehicle and operation of a vehicle with an inadequate muffler at 12:15 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on Maple Street.
