Jacqueline L. Billings, 87, formerly of Massena, NY, went to her eternal rest on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at her group home residence in Peoria, AZ.
Jacqueline was born June 24, 1927, in New York City, NY to the late David and Mary Bero. She was the second oldest of five daughters and remaining sole family member. She married Francis A. Billings on September 13, 1947, and was married for 44 years. Jacqueline was a homemaker, a sales clerk at the Boston Store, and Sunday School Teacher at the First Baptist Church in Massena, NY. Jacqueline enjoyed traveling, painting, and camping.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis A. in January of 1991, and four sisters, Margaret Griffin, Julie Deere, Gladys Allen, and Hilda White.
She is survived by two daughters, Paula (John) Peters and Holly Billings, both of Arizona, and two sons, Francis J. (Elaine) Billings and Brian (Kathy) Billings of Bombay, NY. She is also survived by several grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, and nephews.
Upon her return from Arizona, a graveside service will be held at the Louisville Community Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Pastor Clifford Boice on August 6, 2014, at 11:00 am. Arrangements are under the care of Phillips Memorial Home in Massena.
