DEPEYSTER - A Heuvelton man was charged Sunday by St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies for allegedly driving while intoxicated on West Lake Road.
Michael T. Riley, 58, of 36 West Road, was stopped for inadequate plate lights and found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.20 percent, police said.
A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent is considered proof of intoxication in the state. The count is elevated to aggravated DWI when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.
He was released on appearance tickets for a later date in Depeyster Town Court.
