On Tuesday the ladies of the St. Lawrence University Oliver D. Appleton Golf Association vied for the title of “Queen of the Green.” Nine women were up for the challenge although most of them were only able to play through nine holes due to a rainstorm. Winners of “Queen of the Green” with were points each were Julie Degone and Laura Chambers.

The Low Gross winner for 18 holes was Debbie Ormasen with an 89. Low Net for 18 holes was Pam Sherburne with a 71.

Low Gross for nine holes was Mary Ann Axtell with a score of 44. Low Net for nine holes was Patti Francis with 34.

Debbie Ormasen also had the Longest Drive on hole #8 and was closest to the pin with the third shot on hole #9.

The winner of the 50/50 drawing was Laura Chambers.

Play next week, on Tuesday, August 19th, will be at the Potsdam Golf and Country Club for the final Foothills Tourney.
