BURGLARY - NORWOOD - Massena-based state police charged Thomas L. Pruett, 33, of Norwood with third-degree burglary Tuesday stemming from a complaint filed with troopers July 6 from the village of Norwood. The arrest was made Tuesday on Maple Street in the village of Potsdam. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Jail, Canton.

HARASSMENT - COLTON - Canton-based state police charged Lewis J. Laclair, 36, of Central Square with second-degree harassment Tuesday following an investigation into a domestic dispute complaint filed with troopers on Aug. 5 from the town of Colton.

ONE INJURED - COLTON - Canton-based state police said one person was injured in a one-vehicle collision reported at 9:02 p.m. Tuesday on Cold Brook Drive, near Campbell Point Road, in the town of Colton. Troopers said the vehicle was operated by Dkota J. Wright, 17, of Brasher Falls. She reportedly struck a concrete wall. She was transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Colton Rescue with a complaint of head pain.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Tuesday and early Wednesday. Among those:

• Michael R. Foster, 30, of Potsdam at 12:12 a.m. Wednesday.

HARASSMENT - LISBON - Ogdensburg-based state police charged Heather L. Sovie, 43, of Lisbon with second-degree harassment Tuesday morning at 10320 state Route 37, Lisbon. Troopers said the charge stemmed from a complaint filed with troopers on July 31 from the town of Lisbon.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - DEKALB - Gouverneur-based state police charged Jesse R. Gates, 36, of Richville with a misdemeanor count of second-degree criminal contempt Tuesday stemming from an investigation into a complaint filed with troopers July 20 from the town of Dekalb. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Jail, Canton.

CRIMINAL OBSTRUCTION BREATHING - WINTHROP - Massena-based state police charged Nicholas J. Vankennen, 22, of Massena with criminal obstruction of breathing Tuesday following an investigation into a complaint filed July 29 from the town of Stockholm.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Nicholas J. VanKennen, 22, of Massena with unlawful possession of marijuana at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday at 2230 state Route 420, Massena.

HARASSMENT - POTSDAM - Massena-based state police charged Leslie C. Stailey, 37, of Norwood with second-degree harassment at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday on Maple Street in the village of Potsdam after responding to a disturbance complaint.
