AGGRAVATED DWI - POTSDAM - Village police charged Peter J. Atkinson, 26, of Potsdam with aggravated driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for failure to keep right following a traffic stop at 2:51 a.m. Saturday on Clarkson Avenue. Police said a patrol made the stop after observing Atkinson cross the yellow solid lane and enter the oncoming lane of travel. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.26 percent. A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher is considered proof of intoxication in the state. The charge is elevated to an aggravated DWI count when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - POTSDAM - Village police charged Robert M. Gay, 26, of Potsdam with fourth-degree criminal mischief at 4:19 p.m. Saturday following an investigation into a domestic dispute. He reportedly broke a vehicle window in the McDonalds parking lot.

FAKE ID - POTSDAM - Village police charged Brendan J. Brady, 18, of Massachusetts with attempt to purchase alcohol through fraudulent means at 2:10 p.m. Saturday after responding to a report of a person trying to use a fake identification for the purchase of alcohol at T & R Wine and Liquor.

INADEQUATE HEADLIGHT - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Juan D. Merchan, 20, of Newark, N.J., for operation of a vehicle with an inadequate head lamp following a traffic stop at 10:51 p.m. Saturday on Clarkson Avenue.

1229 Patrol responded to a hit and run accident in the Prosh parking lot.

1410 Patrol requested to respond to T & R Wine and Liquor for a fake ID. Arrest made.

1415 Lost property: Report of a lost wallet with contents.

1448 Patrol completed a traffic stop in the Prosh parking lot. A verbal warning was issued.

1512 Report of a hit and run accident that occurred earlier in the day. Investigation continues.

1619 Report of a domestic incident. Arrest made.

1705 Report of a gas drive off at a local gas station. Investigation continues.

1822 Report of a disorderly patient at Canton- Potsdam Hospital.

2138 Patrols responded to Clarkson University to assist Clarkson Security with uncooperative individuals. Subjects left area prior to patrols arrival.

2204 Patrol responded to Pierrepont Avenue for a noise complaint.

2223 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Island Street. A verbal warning was issued.

2229 Patrol issued a verbal warning to a subject for violation of the local open container ordinance.

2251 Patrol completed a traffic stop on Clarkson Avenue. Ticket issued.
