AGGRAVATED DWI - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Edward Moerlins, 48, of Norfolk with aggravated driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for failure to keep right at 5:45 p.m. Sunday following a stop at 5 Furnace St., Norfolk. Troopers said Moerlins had a blood alcohol content of 0.30 percent. A blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher is considered proof of intoxication in the state, The charge is elevated to aggravated DWI when the blood alcohol content is 0.18 percent or higher.
HARASSMENT - LAWRENCEVILLE - Massena-based state police charged Stephanie M. Niles, 27, of Fort Jackson with second-degree harassment Sunday evening stemming from an investigation filed Aug. 10 from the town of Lawrence. Troopers said the charge stemmed from an incident with another female.
