MENACING - NORTH LAWRENCE - Massena-based state police charged Stephen S. Grant, 28, of Norfolk with second-degree menacing, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree harassment following an investigation into a domestic dispute reported at 5:45 p.m. Friday at 41 Church St., North Lawrence. Troopers said Grant punched his girlfriend during an argument and refused to allow her to leave the residence. He was arraigned in local court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Jail, Canton.

HARASSMENT - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Jessica L. Jock, 20, of Fort Covington and Catherine A. Defonce, 41, of Fort Covington with second-degree harassment stemming from an investigation into an incident reported June 20. Both arrests were made at 2565 state Route 37, Fort Covington.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - CANTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents on Friday around the region.

• Evan M. Bigam, 30, of New Hyde Park at 2:30 a.m. on Route 37 at Keystone Road in the town of Lisbon.

• Hernando C. Ramirez, 66, of Dollard Des Ormeaux, Que., and Natasha M. Thompson, 34, of Akwesasne at 3:45 p.m. on Route 11 at County Route 29 in the town of Burke.

• Danielle M. Hutchins, 21, of Brushton at 7:46 a.m. on state Route 95, near the Russell Road, in the town of Moira.
